The High School Opportunity

Bright Healthy Futures is currently exploring how our practical approach to adolescent wellbeing education can best support students in Years 7 -9.

Our current school program has been developed and curriculum aligned specifically for Year 6. However, the core learning— understanding the developing adolescent brain, emotions, risk and peer influence, nutrition, sleep, light and technology — remains highly relevant as students move through the early secondary years.

The next step is determining how this learning should be adapted for the high school environment, including curriculum alignment, delivery format and where it could best fit within a school's existing health and wellbeing framework.

Every school is different.

We want to understand what would be most useful in yours.

Rather than simply extending our current program, we're taking the time to develop the right approach - informed by the needs and insights of secondary schools.
